The aim of the research is to identify the trend of trainees students from the families of the residents of the informal settlements resettled in the Asmara region of Al-Muqattam district towards the vocational rehabilitation process presented to them in the vocational training center in the region, within the framework of the state’s efforts towards developing the slums and resettling the residents of the slum areas in addition to revealing The relationship between their attitudes towards vocational rehabilitation and each of (psychological security, motivation for achievement), the sample consisted of (126) from the secondary stage with a percentage (approximately 82%) of the indigenous community, by (74) females, (52) males, applied The field part in a vocational training center in Hay Asmarat in Al-Muqattam, the research used the descriptive analytical method,, using tools (questionnaire, psychological security measure, motivation measure for achievement, the interview), and the most important results that the research yielded was the importance of the role of the vocational rehabilitation process in terms of benefiting the trainees and their level of satisfaction with them Which was a high degree, as I found a significant relationship between the level of satisfaction of trainees with vocational rehabilitation and some dimensions of the psychological security scale for (females), as well as a strong relationship between psychological security and motivation for achievement, and the results indicated that there are differences between male and female, especially their attitudes towards qualification For professional, The research also recommended increasing training programs to suit the interests of the trainees and the requirements of the labor market in line with development strategies in Egypt.
