Abstract

      In Egypt and other Arab countries, the issue of sexual harassment is a silent issue because of the sensitivity of the matter. Some victims remain silent; for these and other reasons, the subject of sexual harassment will remain far from being fully aware of its true image. Therefore the harassment of the ugliest will remain And that hurt women. There are many social issues that concern women and have raised themselves strongly in their social reality, as well as portraying these issues in the media in general and the press in particular, most notably those related to the issue of violence against women, such as issues of female circumcision, early marriage and abuse Physical violence against women, as well as the issue of sexual harassment against women. Therefore, the researcher will raise these social issues as reflected in the actual reality in the Egyptian and Kurdish societies, with reference to the position of the press on these issues.
In societies that devote special importance to male roles, especially patriarchal societies, the traditional male role and stereotypical attitudes towards women call for the omission of certain practices that are considered violent and include them within the framework of normal practices. Usually man uses his position in the work to press for the occurrence of harassment, and usually other exploits the cultural factors in society to justify this behavior, it can take many forms of harassment. The difference in the definition of the concept of violence against women has resulted in a difference in determining its forms and attitudes. The researcher will present the actual situation on a case-by-case basis, as well as the press's position on the issue of violence against women in general.
