Investigations of Sheikh Al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah on the Imam of Al-Haramain Al-Juwayny in Believing in Allah

Abstract

The current study aimed to present the investigations of Sheikh Al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah to the Imam of the Two Holy Mosques Al-Juwayny concerning faith in God. The study made use of the inductive method to extrapolate the books of Sheikh Al-Islam to collect his investigations. The analytical method was used to analyze such investigations, classifying and commenting on them. The study focused on the investigations of Ibn Taymiyyah, may Allah the Almighty have mercy on him, to the Imam of the Two Holy Mosques (Al-Juwayny), concerning the matters of faith in Allah the Almighty, without exposure to other aspects related to jurisprudence. The study consisted of two units and several modules. The first unit portrayed the use of the evidence of occurrence to prove the existence of Allah Almighty. Three modules, namely the first module addressed evidence of occurrence to prove the existence of Allah the Almighty, the second module addressed the defamation of the evidence of occurrence legally and the third module addressed the defamation of the evidence of occurrence reasonably. The second unit investigated the use of the evidence of occurrence to prove the existence of Allah the Almighty. The study ended with a conclusion citing the most important results.
