Caricature Art in Arabic Literature until the End of the Fourth Century AH

Abstract

Caricature was closely related to satire, and some considered it another aspect of satirical satire, and Al-Jahiz was considered as the founder and developer of caricature in Arabic literature, and he became the owner of a real school. Various methods and methods have been used, which helped to draw and reveal the funny caricatures clearly, such as the satirical style, the narrative style, the quotation style, the creative arts methods of anagrams, an interview, a dish, and other methods that contribute to clarifying the image, and reaching the desired purpose which is Laughter and humor. The focus became the most important in satire, is the focus on the shape of the body and its parts, and the paths on which people with bad habits follow, after it was a form of imperfection and insults, and vilification of bad habits, by launching external qualities ready.
