This research aims to study the phenomenon of elegy of cities in the poetry of foulaz abdallah al-anwar, talking about what issues it involves intellectually, and to identify the most important artistic properties and aesthetic dimensions. For that, this research is consisted of three themes, as the first theme deals with talking about elegy of cities that were destroyed by wars and invasions. The second theme is devoted to study the elegy of cities whose features have changed due to time. The third theme examines the most important artistic techniques, to revealing its effect implicitly and semantically.
