The dialectical relationship between philosophy and violence in contemporary Islamic political thought

Abstract

The issue of violence in Islamic political thought is one of the most prominent issues on the scene; for this reason our research came to provide an attempt to dismantle this phenomenon from a philosophical perspective through our review of some concepts: violence, Its types, in addition to know the causes, and the relationship of philosophy to violence in general, and its relationship to violence in Political thought in particular, we have dealt with some contemporary models of violence such as: Taha Abdel Rahman, Hassan Hanafi, and in return we presented models for some groups advocating violence such as: ISIS, and concluded the research some solutions to treat violence with a focus on the role of philosophy in confronting it.
