The social dimension of epistemology

Abstract

The research is an attempt to understand the social dimensions of epistemology as illustrated by social epistemology, and aims to clarify the political dimensions of the epistemology of social knowledge, and to indicate the role of feminist philosophy in clarifying the element of sex and discrimination between men and women in the cognitive process, cognitive approaches and their compatibility with the nature of societies.
By addressing the following elements:
1. The need for social knowledge theory.
2 - feminist doctrine and the theory of social knowledge.
3. Theory of individual and social knowledge.
4. Democracy and the theory of social knowledge.
Finally, we conclude that the cognitive product is linked to the society in which it is produced and this necessarily applies to the approaches adopted in the production process.
