Abduction is an important referential tool in the construction of hypotheses and their selection as the first stage of scientific research, as a form of non-classical inference is based on the formation of hypotheses to determine their admissibility. Therefore, it became the focus of interest in the field of logical studies.
This research started with an introduction includes the outline of this research study, its importance, the main research questions and the method of research. Then we present to what probability is as an inference method of producing explanatory hypotheses to illustrate the need for an inference pattern that explains the inference process. Then we explain to the notions of deduction, induction, ampliative reasoning and abduction triggers. In the concluding part, the researcher presents the main results of the research.
