Abstract

     Our study tended to focus on the diversity of the language of theatrical discourse between classical and common vernacular, which gathered opinions on the necessity of finding a compromise compromise between them to achieve linguistic communication well with the audience, and most importantly, the type of language should be poured into a theatrical template that expresses the issue at hand and the dreams of people of their various groups, cultures and mixes, in a manner Creative awakens the recipient's feelings and feelings and arouses his interest. As a result of this, the study included a theoretical study to frame the term language of speech, theater, poetry, and poetic theater, and in the end the problem of the language of theatrical discourse. The second topic is an analytical study of (Laila and Majnoun of Salah Abdel-Sabour) as a model for a play in the language of classical speech, and (the trap set for Hakim the usurper of Muhammad Othman Jalal) as a model for the colloquial dialect, and extracting from them the technical characteristics of language, style, dialogue, and plot in light of the language of discourse, and showing the language problem In these works, then we concluded the study with a conclusion containing the most important findings.
