Study Abstract
This study attempts a semio-linguistic analysis of the novel "Ra'ytouk fi al-Manam" (I saw you in dreams) for the novelist "Mohamed Qutb" in reference to his employment of the Sufi language as a semiotic language carrying abundant connotations, according to the Sufi beliefs and philosophy.
The title of this study "Sufi Employment in Ra'ytouk fi al-Manam Novel" for Mohamed Qutb-A Critical Study" indicates the basic axes in which the ideas of this study revolved. These axes are presented as follows:
First axis: Employment of Sufi language expressing sufferance and patience. It is entitled "Struggle and Sufferance".
Second axis: Employment of Sufi language across sacred spatial spaces. It is entitled "Sufi Spaces".
Third axis: Employment of Sufi language to address Sufi karmas. It is given the same title to indicate the impact of such karmas on the narrative text.
