Abstract

Volunteerism is a reflection of the development of human thought, 
values and culture. Based on the principles and values that the Kuwaiti 
society has raised, and its love to stand by the weak and help the needy, 
the Red Crescent Society was founded.
Kuwait has been and will continue to be a permanent donor through 
its various local institutions, especially the Kuwaiti Red Crescent, on the 
Arab and Islamic levels, and even on humanity as a whole.
The aim of the Kuwait Red Crescent Society is to achieve the 
objectives of the International Committee of the Red Cross and the Red 
Crescent in Kuwait and abroad, to provide assistance, first aid and 
rescue from any crisis caused by natural or human disasters, to provide 
assistance and protection to prisoners of war and individuals and to 
alleviate the suffering of the peoples of the world. And the region.
The aim of the Kuwait Red Crescent Society is to achieve the 
principles of the International Committee of the Red Cross and Red 
Crescent in Kuwait and beyond, to achieve social and medical care for 
all in need, to provide assistance, first aid and rescue operations during 
any crisis resulting from natural or human disasters, to provide 
assistance and protection to prisoners of war and wounded individuals 
during Wars and the suffering of the peoples of the world and the 
region.
The position assumed by the Assembly worldwide was thanks to

Assembly and expand its activities locally and externally, and activate

medical and educational programs year after year, aiming to serve the 
human being and provide the requirements of living and decent life, and 
sets priorities for programs and programs for families and individuals to 
develop their own and develop their communities. We call on all other 
institutions to follow suit.
Through the four Geneva Conventions, as well as the international 
conventions that constitute international human rights law, the Kuwait 
Red Crescent Society works to achieve the basic principles
- Humanitarian principles: to devote time and effort to eradicating 
human suffering, to preserve the health and respect for human 
dignity, to understand the permanent understanding, work and 
peace among the peoples of the world.
- Principle of Integrity: Compliance with the principle of non-
discrimination between religions, races or ideologies.
