Abstract

This research aims to present an epistemological perspective on the foundations of psychological discourse based on the intertwined relationship between revelation and consciousness in the Holy Qur’an. There should be no contradiction against the soul's reception of the revelation. we all know there is no contradiction between mind and revelation. Through the selected semantic models, I attempt to clarify some of the issues related to the sensory aspects covered by the holy verses, and their impact on creating a conceptual semantic network that carries meaning and releases it from the structural constraint to the horizons of unlimited semiotic interpretation. Examples include: remembrance, vision, inspiration, the semiotics of imagination, embodiment, and conceptual semantic paradox.
The study also presents an epistemic analysis of some models guiding understanding and thinking, including the model of parables, with its details, as well as the model of emotions as explained in the Holy Qur'an (such as fear, anger, love, joy, etc.), and the model of extrasensory perception, supported by an example from the Noble Sunnah. In addition, I’ll discuss: the empirical research and information verification, a model of problem-solving strategies using the Qur'anic story, and some Qur'anic references indicating the neural processes that influence behavior in general, supported by relevant scientific findings.
