The present study focuses on sustainability issue as a part of philosophy of environment. It shed lights on ethical and philosophical aspects of sustainable development. It is assumed here that philosophical literatures discussed environment issue which failed to present effective solutions to close the gap between industrial, rich countries and development, poor countries. There is a dilemma between values system raised by idealistic philosophical accounts on environment from one side and real practices performed by industrial countries. This study seeks to show the importance of humanistic approach and its effects on environmental awareness through what we call here linear values and ecosystem to go beyond obstacles between values system on environment and practices. it is concluded there are two patterns of values that are linear values system and ecosystem values. In addition, it is created and define new epistemological characteristics for each system. Finally, it seeks to present new theoretical explanatory model to analyze the relationship between Man and development.
