Hypnosis overview (empirical research)

Abstract

The objective of this study is to ascertain the effectiveness of hypnosis in the 
improvement of some psychological problems, such as (depression, anxiety, fear, 
disease, etc.); By identifying the most important definitions of hypnosis 
(theoretical definitions - procedural definition), the most important uses and listing
the most important and latest studies conducted in this area - during the period 
From (1997 - 2016) - citing examples of hypnosis sessions to alleviate some 
symptoms of mental disorders such as depression and anxiety to highlight its role, 
which is one of the most powerful techniques and tools available to specialists, in 
order to enable them to help others to live a better life. The practitioner of 
hypnosis is not a psychiatrist and does not dispense with medicine or 
psychotherapy.
