Paraphrasing Techniques in Translating Audiovisual Political Texts from Arabic to Persian (Khamenei's Speeches as a Model)

Abstract

The field of audiovisual translation differs from other fields of translation; due to the multiple types of translation included under it. despite being like other fields of translation that enable the translator to translate bilingually (from and to the language and even goes beyond this to be trilingual and monolingual. but what makes it unique from other fields is that each type of it has its own techniques in the degree of their use in the translated text according to the nature of the text, technical, visual, and auditory restrictions, the skill of the audiovisual translator, and the nature of the sciences associated with the translated text during the translation process.
choosing these speeches according to the diversity of political terms where they contain on the internal and external levels; to understand the nature and extent of the difference in the text on both levels.
The importance of this research is due to studying the problem that revolves around the ideology of political terms, especially those contained in the speeches of Iranian politicians, as they contain intellectual, religious, and ideological dimensions.
The research is based on the method of critical discourse analysis, which is the main branch of discourse analysis. "Critical discourse analysis is particularly concerned with the relationship between language and power.
The research is divided into an introduction, eight chapters, a conclusion, and a list of sources and references that were relied upon.
