This paper, titled with "Exegesis theories in the Batini Shi'ism: the methods and applications on the Holy Quran", aims to demonstrate the ways of the Batini systems to extract the interior meanings from the religious texts, and then to represent them as textual evidences for their philosophical doctrines. These branches of Shi'ism are often studied under the topic of "Ghulāt" (lit. exaggerators), the term that is used in the history of Islamic theological sects, especially Shiites, to describe some religious groups ascribe to the Imams (i.e. pontiffs; religious leaders) of Ali's sons and their descendants divine and gnostic characteristics make them more near to be prophets or gods than to be only pious or pure men.
The study here is based on the analysis of three doctrinal systems, that is, Isma'ilis, Nusairis and Druze. It tries, whenever possible, to depend on the original sources which most of them are recently published or still manuscripts, and not yet studied as it should be.
