The social and psychological effects and societal risks of modern technology

Abstract

The research deals with the significant effects that modern technology has had on the social and psychological aspects of individuals and societies, through two sections: the first section explains some of these effects and risks, and the second section explains some of the measures that can be taken to deal with the negative effects of modern technology.
The first section deals with some of the social, psychological and societal effects. Among the social effects are: social isolation and the negative circulation of information. As for the psychological effects: including: technological addiction, including social circulation. As for societal risks: including: cybersecurity threats, including: loss of job opportunities as a result of automation. And technological development, including: personal privacy.
As for the second section, it explains some of the measures that can be taken to deal with the negative effects of modern technology, including: setting time limits for the use of technology, organizing time, conscious communication, privacy awareness, promoting digital education, supporting mental health, and participating in public debate.
At the conclusion of the research, a statement of the most important results and recommendations reached through this research.
