Abstract

The article (conjecture) in the Qur’anic speech still obstructs thought, insists on the mind, and requires reconsideration of its evidence in the Qur’anic context, as there are sensitive issues attached to it that cannot be explored, and their mysteries are resolved only by an accurate understanding of the text, and a discovery of the relationships that link between Its parts, and what this understanding issues from documenting the communication links between the texts and their recipients.
As linguistic units rise from the text, liberated from the values of the lexicon and the stability of meaning, except by the original extent and the significance embedded in its linguistic material, so it opens up to the text, releasing its semantic potential, and revealing the mysteries of its messages.
Since the Arabic lexicon is one of the constants of the researcher’s tools and the starting point for study and analysis, many scholars and commentators have read what the dictionaries have deposited in their middles regarding the subject (conjecture), Ibn Faris said: Ibn Faris said: “Al-Za’ and Al-Noun are authentic, indicating two different meanings.” And in Lisan Al-Arab: “(Think) the hermetic: conjecture is doubt and certainty, except that it is not certainty, but it is the certainty of contemplation. As for the certainty of the bystander, only knowledge is valid in it.
