Abstract

This research discusses Al-Farra’s protest (d. 207 AH) in his book Meanings of the Qur’an with the recitation of Abdullah bin Masoud (d. 32 AH), and due to the abundance of scientific material, the researcher decided to limit his study to the first part of the meanings of the Qur’an only; That is why the title of the research came: (Al-Far’a’s protest against the recitation of Abdullah bin Masoud: A grammatical and morphological study in light of the first part of the meanings of the Qur’an).
One of the most important things of tha study is aim to identify the reason for the Al-Farra’s protest by the reading of Abdullah bin Masoud in every grammatical and morphological issue, and to try to reveal the grammatical and morphological implications of the reading of Abdullah bin Masoud, and explains the Al-Farra position from Abd Allah bin Masoud’s reading Therefore, the descriptive-analytical design that presents the text and analyzes it in the light of heritage data is the design that suits this research.
