Abstract

This research deals with a historian when he becomes a writer through studying the fictional works of Dr. Hussein Mo'nis, and revealing how his stories were influenced by his historical culture.We may allude to a plethora ofsigns, that reveal the influence of a culture based on history, which this study attempts to highlight, and to reveal the extent of its effectiveness in his fictional works.
Firstly: His Study &culture .
Being a university professor specialized in history Hussein Mo'nis had many historical studies, This fact gave him the opportunity to be aware of all the country and people’s conditions over the ages, which is a considered a precious material for him as a writer.
Secondly: The historian /The writer.
On writing stories Hussein Mo'nis is seen only as a writer. However, we could glimpse some signs indicate how he was influenced by his historical culture, which makes him different from the historian who presents history in the form of fiction, and from the writer concerned with historical stories and novels
Thirdly: Aspects of being influenced by history.
The study revealed this through his taking the historical novel as a framework for his stories to be able to raise some issues freely.As well as by recalling history in some of the elements of his story, namely the title, the idea and the goal, as well as the appearance of historical features in the folds of his stories.
