Poetic Necessity in the Poetry of Ibn Waki` al-Tanisi

Abstract

This is a research that studies poetic imperative, and discusses the opinions of scholars in it, by applying to the collection of poems of the oldest Egyptian poet who has come to us, which is (Ibn Waki’ al-Tanisi). The issue of poetic imperative is one of the issues worthy of study, especially when applying to the collection of poems of (Ibn Wakee' Al-Tanisi), which did not get his share of the verse study, and the study required that the research plan be as follows:
Introduction: in which is the definition of poetic imperative and its types, and a brief overview of the poet (Ibn Waki` al-Tanisi).
The first topic: It includes a statement of the poetic imperatives that were mentioned in the collection of poems, with an explanation of their positions in the collection of poems, their study and a statement of the opinions of scholars in every necessity.
The second topic: a talk about what was a language and not an imperative of what was mentioned in the collection of poems, and the opinions of scholars about it.
The third topic: Correcting what was mentioned in the collection of poems
of errors.
Conclusion: It contains the most important findings of the research, as there are many poetic imperatives that were mentioned in the poet's poetry, some of them are extra and some are lacking, in addition to several places that were counted from languages.
