Abstract

The research problem raises an important question:  
is it really possible to practice politics outside political parties?
 First:  The purpose of the research and its questions
          The main aim: The current research aims to examining the Egyptian political reality after the 25th revolution and determine the role played by political parties in the Egyptian political system.
So the main question is: What is the role of political parties in the Egyptian political system after the revolution of 25 January 2011?
This Question is reflected in the following sub-questions:
1-     What are the features of the political party map in Egyptian society after the revolution of 25 January?
2-     How do the current political parties play an influential role in the Egyptian political system?
3-    How do Egyptian political parties reflect citizens' issues and concerns?
4-    What political parties have a realistic presence As opposed to formal parties that do not express a social basis?
5-    What role do the media play in determining party presence and party political education for citizens?
Second:  Research Methodology

The general Methodology:It has been relying on social survey using a sample and the in-depth interview
Research Sample:  The research sample is divided into

1-    An purposive  sample of citizens belonging to a party - purposive Sample consists of 250 citizens belonging to a party
2-    A sample of members of some political parties (150 items)
3-    A number of leaders of political parties
4-    Three citizens not educated.
