Abstract

Water is the secret of life and one of the most important reasons for the existence of the living organism, and Egypt is an ancient, ancient country. God has given it many blessings, in the forefront of which is the abundance of water, and the multiplicity of its sources between a sea and a river. And a moderate climate, and since its earliest historical times - since the era of the Pharaohs - and perhaps before it, and Egyptians deal with water and its multiple sources, especially their fresh water they drink from it, and they ride with ships and boats, to transport them and transport their trade and goods to and from Egypt, so did the rulers of Islamic Egypt from the Mamluk sultans make an effort Is it special and distinguished in caring for and protecting Egypt's water and making tools for preserving and maintaining it? Especially since one of the times of their major state was called the Maritime Mamelukes, as they lived in the towers overlooking the Nile River directly since their arrival in Egypt.
