Abstract

The problem of democracy is one of the vital topics in contemporary Arab political thought. Therefore, the study aims to know the most important efforts of Arab Enlightenment thinkers, such as: Muhammad Abed Al-Jabri, Burhan Ghalioun, Ezz Al-Din Al-Khattabi, and Hassan Hanafi towards democracy through: its definition, and its image between theory, practice and application And the relentless pursuit of a true democratic system in our Arab world; It aims to achieve the values: truth, justice, and equality for all citizens without discrimination.
