Abstract

Abstract :
The study aimed to identify the role that Egypt has played and continues to play in the African continent in the field of maintaining security and achieving peace, and the researcher used the descriptive analytical approach. The study consisted of an introduction and four points: the stages of the development of Egyptian foreign policy towards Africa, Egyptian mechanisms and initiatives to support peace and stability in Africa, challenges facing Egypt in achieving security And stability within Africa, a future vision for the Egyptian role in facing the challenges of achieving peace and security in Africa.
Result of study: it is necessary to use soft power methods to solve problems that threaten peace and security by establishing satellite channels affiliated with the African Union and using social networks to educate African youth, or to establish a centre of the Union in which young people are trained and made aware of the threats to peace and security in Africa and involve them in developing plans To confront them, it is necessary to ensure that African countries take all necessary measures to achieve peace and security and combat terrorism
