Abstract

The study aims to uncover the variation of both self-esteem and anxiety by the variance of demographic variables (age, economic and social level) and also reveals the effectiveness of the self-esteem psychodrama program in reducing the level of anxiety among women with cancer, and to achieve the goal applied the self-esteem criteria (for Rosenberg), and a measure of Anxiety (Taylor scale) on a sample (n = 32) of female breast cancer patients, aged
(20 -More than 52) years, they were divided into two groups, the first being experimental and consisted of 16 women, and the second control and consisting of 16 women also, and they were chosen from among 100 who visit the Bahia Medical Center in Cairo, knowing that the sample has obtained the highest level of anxiety scores on a scale Taylor .. The results indicated - there are no differences between the dynamic and demographic variables among a sample of cancer patients, and there are statistically significant differences between the experimental and control groups in the level of anxiety in the pre and post measurements for the use of the psychodrama program., There are no statistically significant differences in the application after A month of medicine S Taylor dimensional scale of concern the experimental group, and this shows the effectiveness of the program in psychodrama change.
