Abstract: This research aims to highlight on the historian and the scholar learnedAl-Sheikh Abu Al-Walid Muhammad bin Abdullah Al-Azraqi and on his resources and methodology in his book named “Akhbar Mecca”. The research has been divided into an introduction, four chapters and a conclusion. The first chapter talked about the translation of Al-Azraqi, about its scientific status, and the era in which he lived and its impact on his life. The second chapter talked about the description of the book "Akhbar Meccafor Al-Azraqi" with a quick review of the contents of this valuable book. The third chapter talked about themethodology of Al-Azraqi in his book named “Akhbar Mecca”. The fourth chapter talked about theresources of Al-Azraqi in his booknamed “Akhbar Mecca” and explains the sheikhs to whom Al-Azraqi is assigned his accounts in his novels. Then, the book ends with a conclusion and includes the most prominent results.
