عوامل توطن الصناعة في مدينة الصالحية الجديدة
تعد الصناعة أحد أهم قطاعات الأنشطة الاقتصادية، وقد بدأ النشاط الصناعي في مدينة الصالحية الجديدة عام 1985م، ويبلغ عدد المصانع المنتجة 258 مصنع في عام 2015م، ويتطلب قيام الصناعة وتطورها توافر نوعين من العوامل هي : العوامل الطبيعية والعوامل البشرية، وتترابط عوامل قيام الصناعة وتتداخل مع بعضها البعض، وقد ساعد موقع المدينة ضمن مناطق الإستصلاح الزراعي على توافر المواد الخام الزراعية اللإزمة للتصنيع الزراعي مثل الخضروات والفاکهة، وقد جذب النشاط الصناعي في المدينة الأيدي العاملة من الأماکن القريبة منها مثل مرکز فاقوس ومرکز القصاصين، کما يشکل النقل عاملاً مهماً في الصناعة حيث تتوقف عليه مدخلات ومخرجات الصناعة، وتتمتع المدينة بشبکة جيدة من الطرق الرئيسية والفرعية ولکنها تحتاج إلى المتابعة بصفة دورية.
وعلى الرغم من توافر معظم العوامل الطبيعية والبشرية للصناعة في المدينة إلا أنها لم تنم مثل غيرها من المدن الصناعية مثل مدينة العاشر من رمضان ومدينة السادس من أکتوبر وذلک بسبب السياسة الحکومية المتبعة في المدينة.

The industrial activity in the city attracted labor from nearby places such as the center of Faqous and the center of Qassasin, transportation is also an important factor in industry where inputs and outputs depend on it the industry, the city has a good network of main and sub-roads, but needs regular maintenance.
Despite the availability of most physical and human factors for the industry in the city it did not grow like other industrial cities such as the city of 10 ^th of Ramadan and the city of 6 October due to the government policy in the city.
