The study discussed in detail the sources of the water of Hor al-Hawizah surface in the south-east of Iraq, which has multiple sources of water, the first: internal (Iraqi) by the tables branching from the left bank of the Tigris River, the most important table Alkhala, which then branch to three tables are: , Al-Zubair, al-Husseche. It also feeds seasonally from the table of the morgue, as the water reaches it only in winter. And the other (international) through the rivers of Tayeb and Dweirij, which originate from the heights of Western Iran to be located in the Horn of Season Seasonal north of Hor Hweiza.
 
تطرق البحث تفصيلاً عن مصادر مياه هور الحويزة السطحية في جنوب شرق العراق، الذي يتمتع بتعدد مصادر مياهه أولهما: داخلية (عراقية) عن طريق الجداول المتفرعة من الضفة اليسرى لنهر دجلة، وأهمها جدول الکحلاء الذي يتفرع بعد ذلک إلى ثلاث جداول هي: أم الطوس، الزبير، الحسيجي، کما يتغذى لکن موسميًا من جدول المشرح، إذ لا تصل إليه مياهه إلا شتاءً.  وثانيهما (دولية) عبر نهري الطيب ودويريج، اللّذان ينبعان من مُرتفعات إيران الغربية ليصبّان في هور السّناف الموسمي شمال هور الحويزة.
