Abstract It has become clear that technology has a great impetus in the world of literacy nowadays. Non-stopping progress in technology always lays its shadows on English to adapt to new requirements of readers and writers. It is evident that there is an obvious spread of visual aspects in modern English text and in communication in various contexts. The current research aims to investigate visual aspects in modern English texts, in which the visual interacts with the verbal in a new genre called multimodal texts. Multimodal text is based on various semiotics, basically to facilitate interpretation and enhance meaning.
