تناولت الدراسة الصناعات السياحية في مدينة القدس سيما وأن هذه الصناعات تکتسب أهمية ثقافية واقتصادية خاصة بسبب ارتباطها بالأراضي المقدسة والأديان السماوية الثلاث, وخاصة في مدينة القدس وبيت لحم والناصرة, والتي تستقبل الزوار من مناطق ومجتمعات متباينة منذ فترة زمنية ليست بالقصيرة قبل أن يتطور مفهوم السياحة الحديثة ليصبح ابتعاداً عن جو العمل اليومي, وسفراً إلى مناطق تتوفر فيها أسباب الانسجام والراحة والمناخ الملائم. ولقد استخدمت الدراسة العديد من المناهج وهي : المنهج الحرفي والمنهج الإقليميـ  کما استخدم المنهج التاريخي .وتوصلت الدراسة إلى العديد من النتائج کان من أهمها: عدم توفر بيانات متکاملة ودقيقة حول الصناعات السياحية في مدينة القدس وتذبذب أعداد المنشآت الصناعية والمحلات المتخصصة في الصناعات السياحية جراء الأوضاع السياسية السائدة. وأوصت الدراسة بزيادة الدعم المادي المقدم من السلطة الوطنية الفلسطينية إلى قطاع الصناعات السياحية لتعزيز استمرارية هذا القطاع وصموده في وجه الممارسات والضغوط الإسرائيلية.

Abstract
Tourist industries in Jerusalem and its role in the development of tourism geographic study.
The study tourism industries covered in the city of Jerusalem, especially since these industries are gaining cultural and economic importance, especially because they relate to the holy land of the three monotheistic religions, especially in the city of Jerusalem, Bethlehem and Nazareth, which receives visitors from regions and different communities since the period of time for quite some time before it develops the concept of modern tourism to become one of the ways away from the daily work atmosphere, and by traveling to areas where the causes of harmony and comfort favorable climate available. I have used many of the school curriculum: the literal approach, the regional approach, also used the historical method. The study found many of the results was the most important: the lack of complete and accurate data about the tourism industry in the city of Jerusalem, and the fluctuation of the number of industrial establishments and specialty shops in the tourist industry due to the prevailing political situation. The study recommended increasing the physical support of the Palestinian National Authority to the tourist industry sector to enhance the sustainability of this sector and its steadfastness in the face of Israeli practices and pressures.
