ملخص البحث
       يناقش هذا البحث موضوع الحب في فلسفة الدکتور (توفيق الطويل) ؛ وما يعنينا هنا الأبعاد والمضامين  الأخلاقية باعتباره فيلسوف الأخلاق في العالم العربي المعاصر .
ويمکن إجمال أهم النتائج التي انتهى  إليها هذا البحث في النقاط الآتية :
1)    الحب في فلسفة الدکتور(توفيق الطويل) نزعة إنسانية تجمع بين قلوب يربطها هدف کريم ، يستتب في ظله الأمن ، ويستقر السلام ويقوم التعاون بين الناس بعضهم وبعض ، أفراداً وجماعات وأمماً في کل زمان ومکان.
2)    الحب في فلسفته من طبيعة الأديان وليس فيها ما يدعو إلى الاضطهاد ولا إلى محاربة الجديد ولا إلى مناهضة حرية الرأي .
3)    الاضطهاد الديني لرجال الفکر والعلم کان مرده دائماً إلى التأويل المتعسف للنصوص الدينية ، وليس إلى الدين السمح ، وبالتالي فأنه لا ينبغي تحميل مسؤولية الاضطهاد الديني على النصوص الدينية البريئة من کل شبهة .
4)    إنّ الحب في فلسفته يعلو بنا فوق نزعاتنا البهيمية ويسمو على صغائر الکراهية والحقد ويجعلنا نحاول أن نحاکي الله في صفاته الحسنى على قدر ما تسمح طبيعتنا البشرية .
Research Summary
This research discusses the subject of love in the philosophy of Dr. Tawfiq Eltawiel. What concerns us here is the moral dimensions and implications as the philosopher of ethics in the contemporary Arab world.
     The main findings of this research can be summarized in the following points :                                                                                                
1- that love in the philosophy of Dr. (Tawfiq Eltawiel) human tendency combines the hearts linked by the goal of Karim, under the shadow of security, and settle the peace and cooperation between people and each other, individuals and groups and nations at all times and places               .
 2-Love in his philosophy of the nature of religions and there is no claim to persecution or to fight the new or against the freedom of opinion         .
 3-  Religious persecution of men of thought and science was always due to the arbitrary interpretation of religious texts, not to the tolerant religion, and therefore should not be held responsible for religious persecution on religious texts innocent of all suspicion                              .
   4- Love in his philosophy transcends us above our biased tendencies and grows on the small hatred and hatred and makes us try to imitate God in his qualities as beautiful as our human nature allows.
